"Skylar Faircloth saved the day. She discovered that my flood policy had been canceled in what was reported by FEMA to be due to non-payment by the lender. The lender said it was paid, but it would take a few days to determine circumstances. Skylar stayed calm...while I wasn't quite so...and she wrote a new policy and put it in place so I have a new flood policy is live and I am covered. Tom Gingrich State Farm in New Bern has a gem in Skylar. She knows how to help her customers and keep a level head in the heat of the moment. Thanks so much, Skylar. ~Carol Stone"

"Skylar F. at Tom Gingrich/State Farm Insurance in New Bern, NC was very responsive and helpful in getting a quoted assembled for the purchase of a 35 ft. sailboat. I waited on another agency for over 3 days only to find out they could not provide the coverage needed. Skylar interviewed me, got all the information needed, and had a quote back in my hands within 15 minutes. Amazing in today's world of typical "zero" customer service. She did a fantastic job and should be recognized for her fantastic effort."

"Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with this company. There was a major lack of communication from the agent. My best advice is, if you have problems try to talk to the owner asap (even though it might take him two weeks to contact you) because he isn’t notified of issues unless you get upset and request to speak to him."

"We have had our 15yr old sailboat for two yrs now and the original insurance company raised our rates by almost $500 with no claims. So it was time to shop around. A marina neighbor recommended the local State Farm office here in North Carolina. Tom Gingrich our agent is great. Not only did he get us a much cheaper rate with better coverage but it includes the Bahamas which our previous company did not. Tom also informed me that State Farm does not charge more of I make installment payments as our previous insurer did and they have no boat age discrimination. I have heard from so many others how happy they were with their State Farm policy on their boats. We look forward to a great experience with SF insurance."
